Erectile Dysfunction
Treatments and Medications
for
Peyronies Disease

erectile dysfunction medications, peyronies disease

Erectile dysfunction treatments and medications are not something a man with a bent penis should be experimenting with.

Why?

The reason is this:

A bent penis caused by Peyronies disease can, and does, cause erectile dysfunction a in the majority of severe cases.

If the bending is the cause of the ED,
straightening the penis, with non invasive treatments,
will usually cause the ED problems to disappear “like magic”.

Take away the cause, and, the problem disappears. It is usually that simple.

And: ALL sexual stimulants come with some terrible possible side effects. This includes blindness and death. The stronger the stimulant, the greater the risk.

What’s The Point
in Getting a
Worthless Erection?

fix a bent penis, a worthless erection

Besides the fact that sexual stimulants pose health risks, what’s the point of having a hard uselessly bent erection?

Yes, when your shaft is bending terribly and you can’t get a decent erection, or, any erection at all, the temptation to try erectile dysfunction treatments and medications and herbal products is all too tempting.

But really, if all that you’re going to get is a hard severely bent penis, that is worthless for any kind of intercourse, what’s the point?

Secondly, if your ED is being cause by a blood flow problem (your shaft can’t retain the blood due to the bend), erectile dysfunction treatments and medications aren’t going to help you get hard. The blood will keep escaping.

The Simplest
and
Safest Solution

Straighten yourself out first.

Our “manhood” is important to our self esteem. There’s no doubt about it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a bodybuilding champion, a star athlete, or a total bookworm who almost never leaves the library and has trouble carrying a bag of groceries home.

We all have a certain amount of masculine pride. And, rightly so. It normal and natural and it’s healthy.

Peyronies disease, a bent penis, in it’s severe forms is a real trauma for every man that ever experiences this. And, that would be 5%+ of the adult male population over 40. That’s a LOT of men.

But, it comes as such a shock to all of us who develop the problem. Before you got the problem, you probably never heard of Peyronies disease. Did you? None of us did. That in itself is a problem because we feel so alone and isolated when it happens. We feel like freaks.

We think every other guy is out there with an arrow straight erection and they are having great sex like crazy while we are sitting here with cocks from a horror movie.

OK. I can’t resist being dramatic sometimes. But, it’s kind of true. Right? Are you thinking along these lines? We all did. It’s very frustrating, embarrassing, and especially depressing.

You’re not alone. It just feels like you are.

This is why we start to consider all kinds of erectile dysfunction treatments and medications. Herbal treatments. Creams, lotions, etc....

Please: Forget about all of these things until your erections are straight again.

Why?

Because:

If your ED was caused by the penile bending,
once you straighten yourself out,
you most likely won’t need any kind of erectile
dysfunction treatments at all.

The Way You Straighten Your Penis
is
Very Important

Not all straightening methods give equal results.

Your results may be just great. Or, you might wind up worse off than you were before you started the treatment. There are serious possible risks.

There are only three medically approved methods of penis straightening that have proven reliably successful for straightening. These are:

  • Penis Surgery

  • XIAFLEX® Injections

  • Penis Traction Therapy

There are serious possible risks with the invasive methods.

So, let’s take a look at each one:

Penis Surgery:

This was the first medical method that proved to work reliably. At one time penile surgery was the only available treatment.

Penile surgery will give the quickest results. From the time you get operated on until the time you can use your penis for sex again is about 8 weeks.

erectile dysfunction treatments after bent penis surgery

The cost is about $9,000 - $18,000.

You’ll be in the hospital for a few days. With a catheter. And, it’s not terribly pleasant.

But, you’ll be back in the saddle again in a couple of months. If all goes well.

And, that’s a BIG “if”.

This type of surgery comes with a lot of possible pretty terrible side effects that include:

  • Impotence

  • Lack of sensation

  • Inability to achieve orgasm

  • Inability to maintain an erection

  • A shorter penis

  • Infection

  • Damage to the urethra

  • Scarring (which could cause future bending)

Also, there is a 25% chance that the problem is going to return after the 5 year mark.

You may wind up needing erectile dysfunction treatments (PDE-5 inhibitors, such as Viagra) after surgery.

“....over 65% of patients were unhappy with the outcomes of the Peyronie's surgery at 5-year follow-up. Penile length loss and worsening of erectile dysfunction was the most common reason for dissatisfaction.”

XIAFLEX® Injections

penis straightening with injection therapy

XIAFLEX® Injections are a relatively new treatment. Only a few years old at this writing.

They are the only FDA approved injections for Peyronies penis straightening.

We refer to them as “the rich man’s treatment”.

Why?

A full set will cost you between $30,000 and $50,000.

"This therapy requires 10 physician visits over a 5 month period and costs > $50,000 for a full treatment series.

It also results in notable adverse events including risk of penile fracture and significant penile ecchymoses (discoloration from internal bleeding).

injection therapy for a bent penis

The results are not overly impressive. The best they advertise is 35% correction. And, that is only for certain types of cases.

However, 35% can be enough for many men to return to a normal sex life. And, it enables many men to avoid a more invasive surgery.

Unfortunately, XIAFLEX® Injections come with some serious possible side effects of their own. Including corporal rupture (internal bleeding) which is a medical emergency. You can find the complete information on the official XIAFLEX® website.

Penis Traction Therapy (PTT):

penis traction device for a bent penisDr. Jorn Ege Siana

PTT was first developed in 1994 by a penis surgery specialist named Dr. Jorn Ege Siana.

erectile dysfunction treatments for peyronies disease

Dr. Siana invented the traction device to keep a penis straight during the healing process that comes after a penile straightening surgery.

It worked extremely well.

More important: Dr. Siana soon found that his traction device could be used to straighten a penis all by itself. Without any surgery.

This was a land mark in penile straightening. And, correct traction is still the Safest and Most Effective method of penile straightening available.

Why?

Because: PTT comes with NONE of the possible surgical or injection risks. None.

And, the cost?

Under $300.

This is why many doctors are now recommending it as the first line of treatment.

“PTT (penis traction therapy)
has been shown to be effective as a primary therapy
for
penile lengthening and curvature correction.”

Making
Your Choice

A severely bent penis is a nightmare of it’s own when it first happens.

The good news is that a bent penis is easy to fix 99% of the time without surgery, injections, or drugs. Penis traction therapy is the method of choice.

The main advantages of PTT are:

  • None of the possible surgical or injection side effects

  • Very low cost. Under $300

  • The ED, caused by the bend, usually reverses in the process and no erectile dysfunction treatments are necessary

The disadvantage of PTT is time. The process normally tales 6 - 9 months of dedicated use to get satisfactory results.

Why
Does PTT Take So Long?

With PTT there is no sudden major change. As there is with a surgery.

A surgery slices up the shaft and does an immediate reconstruction of the shaft. The whole procedure is under 2 hours. Then you need about 3 days in the hospital and 8 more weeks for the healing to be complete.

With PTT you are simply stretching the hardened tissue that is causing the bend. Just like a dancer or athlete stretches out their muscles.

The tissue slowly lengthens.

New tissue is even formed in the short tissue because of tiny microscopic tears that occur during the process.

are erectile dysfunction treatments and medications necessary with peyronies disease?

You don’t feel or see these tiny tears. There is no bleeding. And, they heal with fresh new cellular growth that is permanent.

As the tissue expands and adds permanent new length, the penis straightens.

Using
Erectile Dysfunction Treatments

As you learned, erectile dysfunction treatments and medications should not be needed after PTT. They are commonly used after a surgery.

Using erectile dysfunction treatments while the penis is bent makes no sense at all.

This is because: Erectile dysfunction treatments and medications used while the penis is bent may be highly ineffective. You’ll still have a bent erection. Further: Erectile dysfunction medications and herbal formulas come with some pretty terrible possible side effects of their own, including blindness and death.

CONCLUSIONS

  • Erectile dysfunction treatments, medications and herbal products should be avoided when a bent penis is causing the ED.

  • Surgery and injections used for straightening come with some very serious possible side effects including possible erectile dysfunction, corporal rupture, and impotence.

  • Non invasive penile straightening, such as PTT, comes with none of the possible surgical and injection side effects.

  • If the bending itself is causing the ED, non invasive straightening will usually resolve the ED problem and no erectile dysfunction treatments will be needed.

Erectile dysfunction caused by Peyronies disease is usually a lot less serious than it seems to you right now.

And, this type of ED usually reverses itself naturally after non invasive straightening. Without the use of erectile dysfunction treatments or medications.
